My name is Adrian, mostly known as Estre, I'm a developer focused on Level and UI Design, along with Narrative. I care about how a space teaches the player through its layout, and how a menu or HUD can support the experience instead of getting in the way like how it happens in many games nowadays.I also love working on Narrative (story, characters, and dialogue writing) I love making the world and characters feel alive, getting the player to feel as if they were part of the story while playing the game and giving nice little things and details to those who like to explore and read every corner.Lastly, I can help with Unity Programming, mainly gameplay and UI scripting. I tend to prefer sticking to the parts mentioned above, but I'm totally aware that indie teams are usually small and need help with many things.

I also offer English ↔ Spanish localization, including texture and UI text localization, backed by a specialized course in video game translation and having advanced level on both languages. I know how to work with the tools used in video game localization, along with image editing software.I'm open to both paid and unpaid projects — it really comes down to how interesting the idea is to me. I'm especially drawn to projects with a strong narrative or distinctive world and characters, and I'm always happy to talk through an idea even before anything is set in stone.

I also have experience working as part of a team. I've worked on two fangames — a Pokémon one that's just months away from being finished, and a Danganronpa one. I was part of the team behind a small indie game we presented at Indie Dev Day in Barcelona. Some of my favorite games are Fire Emblem Awakening, Final Fantasy XIV, Pokémon Emerald, Persona 5, Divinity 2 and Danganronpa 2. They've shaped a lot of how I think about narrative, characters, and overall design, they're a good reference point for the kind of design sensibility I bring to a project. You can reach out to me by email ([email protected]), and from there we can talk through whatever you need. I can't wait for the chance to jump into a project and start creating something together — so don't hesitate to get in touch!

PROJECTS

My main focus for the past two years, I have been developing this fangame along with another person. It should released in the next few months, as we are finishing the last version. lt's being released on both English and Spanish, and we have over 4.000 followers on X (Twitter).

I'm working on the narrative, characters, dialogues, maps, battles and overall balance of the game and the new Pokemon we created for it. I have also learned a lot about how it is to work along with an artist, communicating my ideas clearly to them so we both can be on the same page.

Another fangame I was part of, which is currently paused due to personal reasons on the team. I worked on the UI and map design. I also did some coding for the main systems of the game, like the usual nonstop debate, and the visual novel part of it.Lastly, I wrote all the sixteen character's personalities and backstories, along with getting the base of their design, working with the artist to translate them to their final art.

A small project a few friends and me did along with our university. We were able to go to Indie Dev Day at Barcelona with it and get some valuable feedback from players and other developers for it.The game was a platformer, based on physics, where you use two kind of ropes and other gadgets to advance through some floating islands.I mostly designed the levels and puzzles inside them, along with helping with the UI.
